OI 2001, Miami, FL
If
you managed to make it down to Miami in April for the PGI Spearhead Oceanology
International 2001 Americas, this little guy should seem familiar.
Our
first limited edition of coastal-usa rubber duckies popped up all around
the convention center. Check out our who's
got the duckie page to see the oceanographic community bonding
with our little yellow pals.
Coastal
shared booth #212 with other contributing Marine
and Oceanographic Technology Network (MOTN) members.
Our new Macro Series line of oceanographic, environmental and
meteorological instrumentation was exhibited and available for
demonstration.
Many interested parties stopped by to see what Coastal had to offer and
got some instruction from Chris, Don and Kirsten.
Coastal
also had a presence at D&A Instruments' booth. We teamed up with
John Downing to promote a buoy system, linked by radio modem, consisting
of a Coastal Logger and OBS-3A Turbidometer.
